We exist to extend the care of board-certified dermatologists to every community, family and individual in America.
Through the CMS Rural Health Transformation (RHT) program, your facility can now offer dermatology as a covered service — with no upfront costs or new infrastructure. We handle everything from patient intake and clinical triage to board-certified dermatologist review, treatment planning, and care plan delivery.
Through physician-led innovation and patient-centric care, we’re on a mission to democratize dermatology access in America.
Today, nearly 100 million Americans have a skin condition requiring specialist dermatological care. One in five will develop skin cancer. Yet dermatology care is expensive, opaque and notoriously difficult to access. Patients — particularly in rural communities — wait months for a visit and leave with little to no support. Millions are left to self-diagnose while chronic conditions and skin cancers silently progress. Dermatologists’ schedules, meanwhile, are overwhelmed with routine cases, without prioritization of the more urgent and complex skin concerns. We solve these problems through breakthrough innovation.
In partnership with Google for Health, we are building an AI-assisted specialty telehealth platform, which amplifies the capabilities of our dermatologists and clinical staff, and guarantees patients a clinical diagnosis and treatment plan in less than 24-hours. This rapid turnaround is achievable through our physician-assist capabilities, which enable doctors to treat patients with unprecedented speed, precision and care.
Our platform and operations are being purpose-built for the generational opportunity that is the CMS Rural Health Transformation (RHT) program. We are carefully aligning with the specialty care access needs of rural hospitals, health systems and clinics across the United States. We can be live within weeks of an award and are structured for CMS outcomes reporting and compliance — with plans to operate across all 50 states.
Our leadership team brings together decades of dermatology experience spanning the full clinical spectrum — from routine skin condition management to Mohs surgical intervention. eDermatology’s team also brings together decades of experience in enterprise technology and operations leadership. Clinical authority, technical infrastructure, and business discipline exist together — physician-led and built with purpose.
Today, we are in active discussions with state programs, rural health systems, hospitals and clinics to bring dermatology access to where the problem is most acute. We are supporting RHT grant applications, forging partnership agreements and working directly with states — because rural communities deserve the same standard of skin health and wellness as everyone else. If this mission resonates, we want to hear from you.
